Order of Precedence for Reference Documents

The supplier shall adhere to the instructions and reference documents included in the purchase order.

 

In case of discrepancy between reference documents, normally, the following order of precedence is observed:

  1. Contract, Specific Conditions
  2. Contract, General Conditions
  3. Basis of Design (B O D)
  4. Documents that require deviation to be approved by Client including Design Criteria, Philosophies, PFDs, Plot Plans
  5. Documents that require deviation to be approved by Principal Contractor including Specifications,  drawings.
